Automatically send appointment details for phone-booked appointments

Currently, Cortico only sends appointment confirmations when patients book through the online portal. When an appointment is booked by calling our clinic, a patient receives nothing until reminders start to go out close to the visit date.
Many of our patients prefer to call to book. After hanging up, they must write the details down themselves (sometimes they forget to do that). When the appointment is far in the future (e.g., 1–2 months), patients often forget the date and time and feel confused or stressed when reminders suddenly appear.
This feature would automatically send a confirmation message (email or SMS) with the appointment details whenever an appointment is created in the EMR, regardless of whether it was booked online or by staff.
This would: reduce patient confusion, decrease incoming phone calls, and improve overall patient experience.
